Washington’s Department of Ecology (the “Department”) recently issued a number of guidance documents to aid the regulated community in complying with its Dangerous Waste Regulations. The Department believes the new guidance documents will clarify compliance requirements for the regulated community and aid in proper and safe management of dangerous wastes.
The new guidance documents focus on changes made to the Dangerous Waste Regulations in April 2019, and address labeling requirements, satellite accumulation area requirements, Large Quantity Generator Consolidation of Small Quantity Generator Waste rules, and “unknown wastes.”
The Department’s new guidance documents are available here:
- Labeling Dangerous Waste
